Manufacturing Execution System (MES)

Synopsis

• Business Challenge: Evaluate how an MES could address manufacturing-process, data, traceability, and operational requirements across the organization.
• Approach: Participated in a multi-year assessment spanning requirements gathering, needs analysis, process evaluation, stakeholder engagement, and two separate MES vendor explorations.
• Outcome: Neither engagement proceeded to implementation, but the work clarified business requirements, technology fit, implementation considerations, and organizational readiness for MES adoption.
• My Contribution: Served as project champion and advisor, helping translate manufacturing needs into system requirements, evaluate proposed solutions, and guide stakeholders through the exploration and decision-making process.
